Testimonials

As a landowner in Wilmot and Terry Township in Bradford County, I signed a gas lease after having two different  Attorneys look at it,what a mistake! Later on I joined the RLSTORE.COM web site, and with a lot of information on there I noticed the Clark Law Firm. I knew I would need an attorney sometime in the future.

Last year I was contacted about putting a pipeline on my property, I called the office and spoke with Marceea, she was very pleasant, helpful and considerate. I talked with Doug next, and got the same response. Most recently I scheduled a consultation call with Doug and was completely satisfied,he took his time with me,answered all my questions and was very helpful with my concern's and issues. If I knew of Doug before signing of my lease, some changes would have been made. I would highly recommend the Clark Firm to anyone.

Several months ago an oil and gas company approached me with an offer to renew my lease with the same company I originally signed with.  Although we had a pretty good lease as a starting point I wanted to be sure all of my bases where covered and I needed good legal advice. After a few weeks of online research and some phone calls, I chose The Clark Law Firm to represent me, and it was one of the best decisions I have made regarding oil and gas leasing. Doug took our starting point lease, and negotiated in key items and terms to give me all the rights needed to protect our family and our property. He handled everything promptly and professionally and kept me apprised of any conflicts and concerns throughout the process.

I highly recommend Doug and his firm for any legal work and I will be using his firm as needed for any future dealings.

Thanks Doug, and everyone at The Clark Law Firm.

Our situation was a little more unique than most. We held out for over a year on signing a ROW. We did not want to make the same mistakes that we did when we signed our gas lease agreement. We waited so long that we were the last landowners to complete the pipeline. When we decided that we wanted to sign a ROW we contacted the Clark Law firm to help with the review and negotiation of the ROW agreement. Time was of the essence because the company we were dealing with was planning to route around us. Doug and his firm reacted immediately. The communication was first class.

Within two weeks we signed the agreement. If we ever need the services of a gas attorney the Clark Law Firm is our first choice. I would recommend the Clark Law Firm for any gas lease or ROW agreements. Thanks Doug!

It was a pleasure talking to Doug the other day regarding the deciphering of our gas lease.

We only wish we would have been able to utilize his knowledge before we signed our lease.

We are already referring our friends and family to him for help with their leases.

When we couldn't get answers from EOG resources, we called The Clark Law Firm and EOG resources started answering questions. A deal was negotiated, finalized, and paid 30 days ahead of schedule.

Thank you Doug and Marceea!

PA Gas Leasing Poll

As a landowner do you favor a "Severence Tax" based on production volume or an "Impact Fee" based on the number of wells drilled?
Whether and how Pennsylvania should tax the natural gas industry remains a hotly debated issue:
Severance Tax - with revenue shared with the entire state. (11 votes)
Severance Tax - with the majority or all revenue directed to counties impacted by drilling. (22 votes)
Impact Fee - with revenue shared with the entire state. (0 votes)
Impact Fee - with the majority or all revenue directed to counties impacted by drilling. (12 votes)
I favor no severance tax or impact fee. (10 votes)
